                1. Academic conversations (up to 4 speakers).

                1. Lectures or talks on academic subjects.

            • Skills Tested: Main ideas, specific details, opinions, attitudes, and following arguments.

            • Tip: Each recording is played only once, so focus is critical.

              • Practice listening to different English accents (British, Australian, American).

              • Take full-length mock tests under exam conditions.

              • Develop predictive reading skills by glancing at questions before listening.

              • Write keywords and paraphrases to answer quickly.

            2. Reading (60 minutes)

            Format & Content:

                • Total 40 questions.

                • Academic: 3 passages from books, journals, or articles (approx. 1000 words each).

                • General Training: 5 shorter texts from newspapers, notices, or advertisements.

                • Question Types: Multiple-choice, matching headings, True/False/Not Given, sentence completion, diagram labeling.

                • Skills Tested: Skimming, scanning, detailed reading, identifying opinions, understanding logical arguments.

              Preparation Tips & Strategies:

                  • Improve skimming and scanning skills to quickly locate information.

                  • Learn to identify keywords, synonyms, and paraphrasing in questions.

                  • Practice time management: ~20 minutes per passage for Academic.

                  • Use sample passages and past papers to familiarize yourself with question types.

                3. Writing (60 minutes)

                Format & Content:

                    • Task 1:
                          • Academic: Describe graphs, charts, tables, or diagrams (150 words).

                          • General Training: Write letters (formal, semi-formal, or informal).

                      • Task 2:
                            • Essay of minimum 250 words presenting an argument or solution.

                        • Assessment Criteria: Task achievement, coherence and cohesion, vocabulary range, grammar accuracy.

                          • Use linking phrases and varied sentence structures for higher cohesion.
